Possible Causes

    • Water inlet valve is clogged, stuck, or malfunctioning • Main water supply valve to the dishwasher is turned off or partially closed • Inlet hose is kinked, pinched, or severely bent • Water supply line filter screen is blocked by sediment or debris • Faulty water level sensor or float switch • Damaged inlet hose with cracks or holes • Household water pressure is too low (below 20 PSI) • Control board issue preventing proper valve activation • Mineral buildup or hard water deposits in fill system

Safety Checks You Can Do

    • Verify the main water supply valve behind or under the dishwasher is fully open (turn counterclockwise) • Check that the inlet hose is not kinked, twisted, or pinched along its entire length • Inspect the inlet hose connection points at both the dishwasher and wall for visible damage or leaks • Turn off water supply, disconnect the inlet hose, and clean the filter screen at the connection with a small brush • Ensure the dishwasher door is closing completely and the latch is engaging properly • Confirm you are using a recommended detergent type for your Asko model • Run the dishwasher on a short cycle and listen for water fill sounds during the initial fill phase • Unplug the dishwasher from the electrical outlet for 60 seconds, then plug it back in to reset the control panel • Check household water pressure at another faucet to ensure adequate supply (should be 20-80 PSI) • If error persists after these checks, contact on 844-731-2978
